Here at Cavago, we're all about celebrating outstanding achievement, which is why we're putting our Head of Sales, Hannah Stevens, in the spotlight this month.
Hannah has been a true powerhouse when it comes to sales and host relations in the year she’s been with Cavago. As she has now surpassed her hundredth host sign up, now feels like the perfect time to celebrate her success.
Hannah has kicked off 2025 by going above and beyond, activating all corners of the UK equestrian community and helping open their eyes to how they can thrive in an online world.

Behind the scenes with stars
From pro footballers to the equestrian world’s finest talent, Hannah’s contact list is becoming increasingly sought after.
A most notable encounter was on a trip up north to visit a few well-known venues in the area, including Manor House Stables – the racing venture of none-other-than Michael Owen, former England footballer.
“My main passions in life have always been my family and football, but I suppose a close third is horse racing,” says Michael Owen. “The joy of owning a racehorse is indescribable, from buying them as youngsters, watching them develop and seeing their first visit to a racecourse. I have owned horses for many years and whenever I have time off, you‘ll find me down at the stables!”
After a yard tour and successful negotiations, Hannah was able to onboard Michael Owen’s Racing Club onto Cavago where enthusiasts can become a member of his racehorse ownership community, including exclusive yard visits, horse updates and more without the hefty costs.
“With a 12-month membership, I invite you to join us and experience the excitement and camaraderie of the racing world,” comments Michael.

Reigniting riding schools
Riding schools form a huge part of what Cavago does and the team were very excited when Hannah announced she had made contact with the legendary Pammy Hutton and Pippa El Derby, owners of Talland School of Equitation.
As one of the most well-known riding centres in the country, Talland is a huge account that Hannah was delighted to take on. Developing technology that a centre the size and scale of Talland can use to suit their diverse business needs is no mean feat, but Hannah has been working closely with the team there to deliver.
The partnership debut happened with the successful ticket sales for the annual Talland Christmas demo and several riding packages are also available via Cavago.
Pippa El Derby said: “Working with Hannah is an absolute pleasure. She’s dedicated and determined to get the job done to the highest of standards.”
“The long-term goal is to use Cavago’s extensive global network to enhance Talland’s educational visibility worldwide,” says Hannah. “Being the only home-office approved riding school across the UK, Talland offers so much scope to accommodate students from abroad to come and learn with the very best.”

Aside from Talland, one of Hannah’s biggest riding school success stories to date lies with Ampfield Riding School based in Hampshire. Run by showjumper Anna Jellis, Hannah has been a pivotal part in helping them digitise their business with Cavago, resulting in a revenue increase of 27% since onboarding.
“Hannah is brilliant and always at the end of the phone if I have a question or a problem,” says Jess Jevons, Instructor and Riding School Manager at Ampfield.
“She’s made regular visits to see how we’re getting on and is always welcoming feedback, she really has made the process of paperless so easy.”

Showing promise
One of Hannah’s most recent hosts, Higher Farm Equine, an equestrian centre based in Cheshire, has formed a true partnership with Cavago. Hannah expertly negotiated a win-win situation, where Cavago offered to support two of the centre’s high-profile showing events in May 2025 as title sponsors, while all entries will be taken through the Cavago platform. As well as this, Cavago is delighted to be playing host to a variety of the centre’s other offerings, such as arena hire, in the interim.
“From the start, Hannah’s professionalism, attentiveness and dedication stood out,” says Shannon Edwards, Events Coordinator at Higher Farm Equine. “What truly sets her apart is her genuine passion for helping others succeed. She listens intently, understands unique needs and offers tailored solutions that deliver results. We at Higher Farm Equine look forward to working with Cavago due to Hannah.”

Staying within the county of Cheshire, Hannah was also able to branch out her network at the London International Horse Show to Nina Barbour, Managing Director of Bolesworth Estate.
As a result, the stunning event venue has onboarded several elements of the business to Cavago under Hannah’s support. “Along with keeping tabs on Bolesworth throughout the year, we’re setting sights to arrange working together for their up and coming five-star event,” comments Hannah.
Team Triumph
It’s fair to say that Hannah has successfully harnessed her natural people skills to convert several equestrian businesses and entrepreneurs to join forces with Cavago. She thrives on helping businesses diversify and monetise as many aspects of their output as possible, fostering genuine, long-term relationships along the way. "I'd like to also thank my team at Cavago for supporting me where I need it," says Hannah.
Hosts that are a key example of this type of working relationship are international equestrian artists Emma Thytherleigh and Giorgia Kalias. Emma and Giorgia have performed in world-renowned equestrian productions and use the platform for scheduling. “The ease of being able to lean back on Hannah for admin support if we’re lacking time has been a godsend in our busy line of work,” says Emma. The pair have been active in referring other hosts to the platform and providing valuable feedback on the tech, making the relationship a two-way street.

A job well done
Hannah has certainly made her mark on the equestrian community in the year that she’s been with Cavago, and I’m sure you’ll join us in congratulating her on a job very well done.
We can’t wait to see what world domination she’ll achieve in the years ahead!
