How to edit, modify and cancel your bookings

This guide outlines the steps to edit, modify, or cancel bookings through both the Cavago Host Dashboard and the Cavago Host App.

 

Accessing the Cavago Host Dashboard

 

Step 1: Log In to Your Cavago Account

 

 

Step 2: Navigate to Bookings

 

Once logged in, click on the Bookings tab in the dashboard menu to view all current reservations.

 

 

Editing or Modifying a Booking

 

Step 1: Select the Booking

 

In the Bookings section, locate the reservation you wish to modify and click on it to open the booking details.

 

Step 2: Edit Details

 

Click the Edit button within the booking details. You can adjust dates, times, or services offered as needed.

 

Step 3: Save Changes

 

After making the adjustments, click Update Booking to apply the changes. The client will automatically receive a notification email if you select update booking(send email)

 


Canceling a Booking

 

Step 1: Select the Booking

 

In the Bookings section, locate the reservation you wish to cancel and click on it to open the booking details.

 

 

Step 2: Cancel the Reservation

 

Click the Cancel Booking button. A confirmation prompt will appear—review the details and confirm the cancellation.

 

 

Step 3: Notify the Client

 

After cancellation, the client will automatically receive a notification. However, it’s a good practice to follow up with a personal message for clear communication.

 

Using the Cavago Host App

 

Step 1: Log In

 

Open the Cavago Host App on your mobile device and sign in using your credentials.

 

 

Step 2: Access Bookings

 

From the Home page, access the pending bookings. 

 

 

Once you're on the pending bookings page, tap on a specific booking to view its details.

 

 

Step 3: View Booking Details

 

Once you view your booking, tap on the booking status to change it.

 

 

 

Step 4: Edit or Cancel

 

To modify a booking and propose new time slots, select the reservation, tap Booking Status, make your adjustments, and tap Save.

 

 

 

To reject a booking, select the reservation, tap Reject Booking, and confirm the action.
